Key Strengths.
-
Product Portfolios.
Developing product portfolios that deliver results - for your customers and your organization. Individual products are less successful than product portfolios with associated services. I have built differentiated and successful portfolios in training, service, and hardware product lines.
-
Product Coaching.
Creating context and insight for teams to apply best product practices. Standing up Product Coaching services including comprehensive curriculum and workshops. Training others to follow in your footsteps - with confidence. Agile, Complex product lines. It all means finding the right approach for the people you are working with.
-
Management Consulting.
Change management and transformations are tough. Great stakeholder management the creates confidence in your ability to deliver increases your chance of success. Ensuring that all groups in a complex organization hear and use the same message creates long-lasting impact. Managing consulting teams also means creating practice guides and sample artifacts so that your entire consulting team can execute successful engagements.
-
Great Communication.
Creating content that moves people - to change, to learn, to act is an art and a privilege. Popular blog articles, lead magnets, pillar content that attracted over 25% of visitors to the company site. Oh, and the industry standard, Product Management for Dummies.
-
Business Value.
Working with delivery and their leaders to develop a structure which focuses first on key features and epics which add value - and then breaks the larger value pieces down I to manageable chunks for development teams to work on.
Deciding on success metrics attach level is a worthwhile discussion. And, if used, OKRs are great way to link strategic priorities directly into what teams prioritize.
-
Project Management.
Leading large groups of people on a transformation journey means adopting transparency on the completion of each phase. Jira was this organiations’s tool of choice. Writing over 100 Jira queries, developing a Roadmap and communicating next steps clearly and coherently meant that for each group I led or coached, we stayed on track completing there journey - and even finding ways to include extras that the teams needed to be successful in the long term.
-
Training Delivery.
Training is the first step in adopting new ways of working and thinking. My goal is to make sure that everyone is clear on goals, that deal are adaped to act team’s needs, that each skill is practiced - and finally that folks enjoy the experience.
I am constantly looking for ways to connect content to people’s real world experiences so that retention is high.

Organization Change
This is the flag outside the Metopolitain Transportation Authority (MTA). Recently I worked with two different groups of vastly different responsibilities, technical skill and experience. Tailoring the messages, techniques and content so that the entire team came along was a big challange.
My work extended from the head of Product Management to individual development engineers. My most satisfying results came through coaching Desuty Directors and managers. Success metrics showed that organizational change - even for an organization as old as the MTA is possible.
